AONL Advocacy Day
Registration for Advocacy Day 2024 is Now Open!
Register by May 13
Why should you participate?
Advocacy Day is an opportunity to elevate the voice of nursing leadership. Using a mix of on-demand and live interactive conversations, AONL will teach you how to create compelling advocacy messages, connecting your personal stories with AONL’s congressional asks. Whether you send a letter, create a video message, use social media or have an in-district meeting, any of these methods allow you to communicate with your legislators about how they can support nurses and address the nursing workforce crisis. Up to three in-person contact hours can be earned at this event.
Advocacy Academy: June 2-3, 2024
If you have attended three or more advocacy days at the federal level in the past, you are eligible to register for Advocacy Academy. Choose the Advocacy Academy option during registration.
Advocacy Day: June 3-4, 2024
Join nurse leaders from across the country to champion legislation on AONL’s Advocacy Day. Learn how to advocate effectively – sharing your story about the local impact of national health care issues. Legislators want to hear directly from you how these issues affect their constituents and what they can do to support you.
